Sarah Calmus is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Scotland since graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee in 2014. 

Interested in immersive, environmental art, Calmus’s work ranges from fixed large scale light installations to month long nomadic social interventions.

Mediums of focus are predominantly light installations, sound art, photography, and poetry.

Her multi disciplined approach is underpinned with the constant exploration of the interpretation and perception of interaction.

Other interests include; challenging perception through illusionary provokation, the importance of serious play, art as a means for social intervention.
